Born at the end of the Baby Boom this girl grew up listening to some of the best rockers in history including some of the best female vocalists such as Pat Benatar and Ann Wilson of Heart. A powerful and versatile vocalist herself, Patty Stefan doesn't like to stay in one Genre. She can sing anything from rock, country, gospel and blues. Patty also taught herself the guitar and has been playing since she was 18 years old.
One of the most memorable places I've played was not necessarily a street but it was a leprosy hospital in India. It just seemed to be something right out of the bible.
There was another time while we were in India during their monsoon season. We did an outdoor concert. Needless to say it started to rain. We kept on playing that is until my lips were getting shocked on the microphone and my hands were getting shocked from my guitar. That's one time where the show didn't go on.
I'm happy to say I really don't have to many embarrassing moments on stage. Mostly just forgetting the lyrics. Or I could just be in denial! :)
Hmmm my first guitar was given to me by my cousin. It was an old Kent. The action was so high making it a challenge for learning but I stuck with it. I've gotten better guitars since then. I now have 11 guitars. If I had kept all the guitars I owned, the number would be Fifteen. Sixteen if you count the Ibanez bass I sold. I do have my eye on a few more. I never had names for any of them. I do love my CME Exclusive Peach Fender Jazzmaster and have considered calling her Peachy Keen.
