I used to perform on the street with a Robert Morley table model clavichord (using a modified cassette preamplifier in continuous record mode) .
I was performing on the street in San Francisco in the early seventies and a man told me he killed somebody. I was playing at the time, and didnt notice what he said. The cassette happened to have been running. Later, on listening to the playback, I heard him saying that, and he sounded remorseful, like it was an accident. Never saw him again.
I once spent several months building a Zuckerman Clavichord. I put steel strings on it so I could use a magnetic pickup to amplify it. I loved it. It took me about 6 months to complete, and then one day it was stolen.
I would of course recognize it immediately if I saw it again.
