I have always enjoyed musicians who told their life stories in song. Be them happy, sad and/or funny stories in song, they are genuine and what inspired me to learn to play the guitar.
I was a drummer for many years and slowly faded away from the music scene.
I wanted to learn a new instrument and on my 40th birthday my wife bought me my first guitar. The best gift I have ever received.
Sadly, my wife is not much of a story tellin fan of song, so I found that I was singing to myself a lot.
But thankfully the internet now allows us to share our new found talents.
