Coming from a musical family and having picked up an acoustic guitar while in high school, I began playing by ear. I was heavily influenced by the singers and the songwriters that my generation grew up with, but also by a host of other artists in nearly every genre.
I write songs about everyday people and events. Some are serious, some are personal, and some are just for the fun of it.

Fun Stuff about the Artist
My Instrument
I first learned chords on Sears Silvertone electric guitar my older brother got for Christmas one year. Later on I borrowed the acoustic guitar my Grandfather bought for my Grandmother. Neither of them played, but they sure could sing and harmonize!
I've played various guitars over the years, but now mostly play a Collings D2H and Martins, a D-18 and an HD-28.
