I am David William, a songwriter/singer/musician from Edinburgh, Scotland. I released my debut solo album "One Way Ticket" independently in 2006. I have spent most of my life as a musician making recordings from my home but now find myself playing live more frequently online and on the streets. I have no desire to get signed and follow the conventional music industry path but Music is what I do, almost 24/7. I am forging my own unique path, finding my own way to do what I love and earn a living from it. All income from Music goes back into the Music to keep it progressing and growing!

My early influences were Oasis, Crowded House/Neil Finn and Travis then moving back through the 60s and 70s artists like Neil Young, T-Rex, Simon & Garfunkel. I also like some 80s pop. Bob Marley and The Beatles inspire me most.
