The first performance my sis and I ever had was to try to win a record contract. There were several groups competing for the deal. Our nerves were going haywire, but the adrenaline was awesome! Oddly enough, it was one of the funnest days ever.
My sis, a couple friends and I had been provided an opportunity for an opening slot for a Forth of July event at Marquette park in Indiana. We had our routine ready and it was our time to shine. We were all nervous so we attempted to overlook the massive crowd, so our nerves wouldn’t get the best of us. We went out on stage and begin our routine, but mid performance we began to pay notice to the crowd. They were all children about 15 and under. Our routine was totally not PG13. We start improvising, so we were no longer in sync. MOST EMBARRASSING PERFORMANCE EVER! LBS!
I play the xylophone.... Yes, the xylophone. I started playing in the 6 th grade for our schools marching band. I was one of the smallest band members, but I maneuvered like a pro with one of the heaviest instruments. I was always on key, my feet were always in sync with the rest of the band, and I have an excellent frame to this day. Choosing the xylophone as my instrument was an excellent choice. Lbs!
