I'm a singer/songwriter and storyteller. I write songs about everything from Gold Rush Era stories to broken hearts and everything in between. I also sing tons of covers, though I tend to make them all sound a little bit country, no matter the genre.
My touring came to an abrupt halt in early 2020 - as it did for all musicians everywhere - so now I'm trying to reach as many people as possible online with my music. Oh, and I have a few albums out, and all that stuff. Hope you dig what I do. Peace!
I haven't actually busked a lot. A couple of times tops. But I've done a lot of interesting gigs. I've played at a musk ox farm in Alaska. A renaissance fair in someone's backyard in Tehachapi, CA. The Hollywood wrap party for the Disney movie "Frozen". The National Convention for the Daughters of Norway association in Oregon, USA. The Castlemaine Truck Show in rural Victoria, Australia. The Swedish Country Music Championships. Just to mention a few. I tend to weave stories into my set, so come listen!
Where to start...! I got to go backstage once at a Roger Waters concert in Melbourne, Australia. And there was Eric Clapton, sitting there eating dinner. In the taxi on the way to the venue, I'd had a wardrobe malfunction where the strap of my dress had broke clean off, so while being completely starstruck at seeing Mr. Clapton backstage, I was trying to tie my dress back together in an awkward knot with one hand while still trying to look somewhat dignified.
I still have my very first guitar, it's sitting in the closet. I got it when I was 14, it's a small-sized basic nylon string acoustic that I learned my first few chords on and wrote some songs on. Those songs were rubbish, but I'll keep the guitar forever.
