Growing up in the southern Baptist churches, he found his vocal talent in the church choir at the young age of 12, at age 16 Wayne started performing in live venues around Tennessee. Though at the time, 80’s hair bands were all the trend, In Tennessee, they still wanted hard core country and with this being the only option to get hired in the local clubs, Wayne cut his teeth playing country shows in those clubs and 80,s hair music at private parties, this may sound like a cumbersome task to keep up but forced him into the multi-versatile guitarist that he is today and has given him the chance to create his own sound.
First band at age 16, first gig, opening for BlackFoot at the Corbin Ky Nibroc festival 3 months after forming my first band, been hungry, been homeless, been sad, been happy, spent money on producers who were really scams, spent money in Nashville because of the scamming producers, Opened for .38 Special, Quiet Riot, Duke Tumatoe and many others for the A.B.A.T.E of Indiana, found my way on to second life as a virtual entertainer and now into streetjelly. hope you all enjoy the show.
I have two favorite guitars, my Aria Pro II and my Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Strat, my girl got me the strat a few years back for valentines day, currently its in need of some new frets, playing 7 nights a week up to 5 one hour shows a day for over a year will do some damage to an axe fo sho.
