Herb Dale's passion is songwriting, but he lives to play country music. A seasoned musician, Herb is a regular performer in country and folk venues in Toronto. In 2007 he was joined by backup singer, Fran McCann. and they perform mostly as a duo, The McDales. On occasion, they will include a lead guitar player, and a drummer and do a full-band gig.
Herb has been writing original tunes since 2000. In 2009 he released his first full-length CD "It Was About Time".
Herb and Fran are both still active in the Toronto Music scene and currently run 2 open mics a week to encourage folks to play more music.
