Hi! I'm "the Doug" from The Doug and Pony Show. This has proven to be a fun little project already! We are a bit of an unusual group... We are a big of a mix of players, tastes, songs, experience and genres - with different people popping in and out all the time. You see, we all have different work and home obligations. We all want to be able to play music, and so we all do - but sometimes as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet when we are lucky. And we never know who can make it! So why not just me? Well, I am pretty much a bass player by nature, (oddly enough I've never been able to play the six-string) - and trust me, a 45 minute bass solo by yours truly would be a sad show indeed. The Ponies can sing, play guitar and drum. Still working on that dance number...
PS You'll see me on StreetJelly as simply "Doug" most of the time, but I must say on behalf of the Ponies and myself that we are grateful for the venue. (Thanks Frankie!)
