And we Won! That began a long musical hobby. From Rock to Funk, blues, lounge, country, reggae, jazz. Playing bass and guitar. For a couple of years actually making a living at it. Now it’s just solo playing my generations music. It’s always been my therapy and religion.
Hope you enjoy. Thanks for listening.
And as John and Paul said,
“ The love you take, is equal to the love you make”.
Never really did any "busking" in the street. Played a lot of outside venues here in Florida. One summer I was playing in a duo and we played a hurricane party. During the hurricane!
Many years ago I was playing an evening gig at a legion hall here in Florida in a jazz duo. We were about half way through the night and a fellow, obviously in his cups, requested the song “New York, New York”. We didn’t know it and offered to play a similar song. So in a very loud voice he said
“you guys suck!”. Couldn’t wait to get out of the place.
Currently playing a D’Angelico Premier SS Semi hollow body guitar. With a Line 6 pocket Pod for effects. Also a Epiphone acoustic/electric J-45 guitar. I use a Fender Jazz active bass. Amps are Fender Rumble 100 bass amp and Fishman Loudbox BT 60 guitar amp. Create backing tracks with Sonar X3 studio software, an Alesis SR16 drum machine and a Roland X 2020 keyboard module. Microphone is a Electro Voice EV RE 20. All running through a Mackie 1220 mixer.
