Paul O’Loughlin is a virtuoso classical guitar performer with a passion for live music. Paul started playing the guitar at the age of ten receiving lessons from Philip Woodfield and Chris Susans. Paul gained an ABRSM Grade 8 with distiction and won the Burton Music Festival 1st prize. In 1990 Paul was personally invited to complete his studies with a four year performance diploma course by internationally renowned guitar maestro and pedagogue Gilbert Biberian (one time student of the great Ida Presti) at Trinity College of Music in London. At the college, Paul took part in master classes with many renowned guitarists including, Alirio Diaz (one time student of Segovia), John Williams, Ricardo Iznaola, Paul Galbraith, Jonathan Leathwood and The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Paul also studied in the same guitar class as distinguished artists Clive Carroll, David Merrin and Alison Smith.
