Studio Quality Live Streaming

Online Bands is a collective of talented musicians from the Detroit area that create all original and improvised music. Various incarnations of the members join together at the Online Bands studio and spontaneously create music pulling from experiences in rock, jazz, blues and many other genres. The music is a little different than a typical jam band and can be quite dramatic and dynamic ranging from softer moody pieces to heavy rocking jams. Only through years of playing together can a band get this tight while improvising and composing on the spot.

Some of the bands that have been a part of this are Fuze, Touch, Turning Point, The Seeker and others. Fuze started doing a weekly live audio webcast of the jams in 1998 and continues today although with different members.

Touch and Turning Point feature the Mobius Megatar, a 12 string touch style instrument that is a bass and a guitar on one neck played by tapping.
