Lloyd Miller was born and raised in West Virginia and received a calling to pursue music as a career in high school. After graduating he moved to Los Angeles, Ca where he attended Musicians Institute's GIT program.
In his 10 years in L.A. Miller gained valuable live playing and recording experience in venues such as The Whiskey a Go Go, The Cat Club and B.B. Kings Blues Club and studios including the legendary Cherokee Studios on Fairfax blvd. He also gained some critical acclaim, including a Los Angeles Music Award for "Best Guitar Performance" in 2008. Miller moved to the "music capital of the world", Austin, Tx in 2010.
In 2011 Miller formed the Lloyd Miller Band and they consistently have been playing shows in Austin and surrounding cities in many venues including Maggie Maes, the Thirsty Nickel, Beale Street Tavern, Blind Pig Pub and the Bat Bar on legendary 6th Street.
