One day a friend of mine was hosting a open mic event at his pub and invited me as a special guest to open it. I accepted it, then I asked a couple of friends to join me that night. One would be playing the cajon and other the violin.
We rehearsed and everything was sounding amazing! But then the guy in the Cajon said he got a special type weed for that night, which was very strong. But he couldn't wait until later and lighted up. Usually whenever I'm playing I don't drink or do anything that would compromise my voice or my focus. But 4 hours before that open mic, i decided to give a try because I knew I wouldn't be stone for 4 hours. (LOL)
4 puffs were enough to get me BAKED, I barely could speak, let alone sing and my friends were in another dimension. but we went there anyways and it was a disaster, I was singing out of tune, forgetting lyrics and chords, my friends were zoning out and sometimes between songs I started talking so much sh*t. Such an embarrassing night
