More About davebein
Hello world lol!! My name is David Beinkemper and my love is writing, recording and producing my original songs. I do perform covers in a band "Paradise Bayou" with my wife but my passion is original songs. I do not claim to be a singer by any stretch but definitely feel more comfortable doing my own songs. I have been around a while lol and do play guitar, bass, drums and keyboards but just good enough to achieve what I am looking for in my songs. I have never mastered a single instrument buy feel I am best on guitar but just rhythm no lead.
My influences are John Lennon, The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Alabama and James Taylor just to name a few. I enjoy listening to all styles of music and am looking forward to hearing all the wonderful people on Street Jelly.
I hope you all enjoy my music and just maybe I can put a smile on your face!!!

Fun Stuff about the Artist
Life on the Street
Wrote a song for a friends mongoloid sister who passed away at age 26. Performed it live at Christmas party and everyone in the place balled their eyes out. That is still to this day the most moving moment I have ever had involving a song I wrote!!! It was called "Our Little One"
Embarrassing Moment
Walking back up on stage after a break, tripping on ledge of the stage and whiping out all mic stands and guitars. Everyone said have another Dave but I wasn't even drinking!!
My Instrument
My first instrument was an Ovation electric acoustic guitar bought in 1982. I still have it in my studio today but needs major repair but I just can't let it go!!
