My name is Cody Lakenen, I am mainly a street musician. I have been Playing guitar since I was 12 years old but did not really take it seriously until around the age 22 that is when I gave up drinking alcohol which I had been doing since the age 14. Giving up drinking created a void in my life and I decided to fill it with music, it has always been a dream of mine to make a living playing guitar and have become very fond of busking although I would some day like to graduate to playing festivals as well, I am not real crazy about the bar scene so playing on the street is the easiest way Ive found to have my music heard but living in the midwest it is not very viable to do in the winter months. so that is what brings me here.
