A career musician and drummer, Chip hails from Onaway Michigan. His professional career began when he enlisted in the Armed Services, touring Europe, Africa and North America with the US Navy Band. Chip relocated to Seattle after serving in the military, playing throughout the Pacific Northwest, western Canada, Alaska and Europe with numerous respected blues artists from the West Coast, including, among others, renowned War harmonica player Lee Oscar, award-winning Fat James Band from Seattle, and Paul Rodgers, the “voice of Bad Companyâ€, one of the world’s greatest rock and roll singers.
In 2000, Chip relocated to Nashville, and went from playing with the “voice of Rock and Roll†to the “voice of Country music†when he toured with country legend Vern Gosdin.
