Well one time I was playing outside of a liquor store for money and a guy ran up and grabbed my tip jar. As I began to set down my ukulele to chase him I noticed a man about 6 foot tall dart after the man. I then watched as the man that stole my money got tackled to the ground by the huge man. He got my money back, got the theif a big ticket, and tipped me 20 bucks! It was awesome.
Well I got in an argument with my brother one night before a show (after he had a few drinks) and long story short we got in a little fight. I had to play the show the next day with what looked like a massive cold sore on my lip. And yes, I was the singer.
I don't typically name my instruments. Only because (in my eyes) it gives the instrument a certain personality. For me, music deals with many different personalities and emotions. Each song has its own personality as well as portrays its own emotions. that's what a song does, not an instrument. An instrument is supposed to be able to tackle many different personalities and emotions. So that's why I don't name my instruments. But every instrument I have ever owned, I still own. And still play them occasionally to bring back memories
