The creation of Angel Moth arrived via a long process of Tashi's search to give birth to his most authentic and expansive musical identity. As a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Tashi has been writing and performing since he was six. Led by an internal process of self-inquiry and dialogue between the conscious and subconscious, he explores through the mediums of songwriting and music as well as poetry and visual art. After playing in various musical projects, Tashi self-produced and recorded his debut album titled Reflections In the Dragon’s Eye under his given name Alexander Gabriel. He then began recording his second album Above The Noise with acclaimed producer and performer Walter Strauss and released it under the project name of Angel Moth.
