More About ZahraLowzley

Hello there,

I am a musician , tutor and columnist for Ukulele Rhythms Magazing

I have been a musician since the age of 7 when i first started learning the piano, then at age 12 i started learning bass guitar and double bass, and then at 12 i started with a cheap £30 classical guitar, progressing onto electric guitar, then when i was around 17 i started to learn a new instrument every few weeks, at this point i can play around 25 instruments, i i'm still looking for a new sound that will connect with people.

I teach ukulele with skype, i am the cheapest ukulele tutor because i want for everyone to be able to have a chance to develop their musical platform , add on twitter, i often announce lesson sales, often i charge as little as £10 for 4 lessons, so listen out, i also give away free lessons . Many of my students are guitar / ukulele tutors themselves. but also i teach complete beginners.

Please feel free to listen to me play before passing judgement, i dedicated my li
Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

I have busked in tourist towns for around 10 years now. Only recently in the past year or so have i become well known for what i do, before that i was mostly at the whim of British weather. I have played in -5 Celsius and in the snow and rain... but it feels good when i get a crowd and big applause , but the best is when someone comes up crying telling me the music has moved them, that is my ultimate goal, to connect.

Embarrassing Moment

Embarrassing moments are when a drunk person tries to hug me whilst im playing a difficult solo, or if i make a mistake.... which is easy when you cant feel your fingers in the rain

My Instrument

My main instrument is a mahogany cloudmusic ukulele, a company i endorse. I am also saving money for an instrument i had specially made to my specifications, it has 5 strings, microtonal frets, one fretless radius string to be bowed, cedar top and rosewood back and sides, it is perfecting in uke form for me.... i do have a crowdfunding link right here....

the crowdfunding is also for a workshop tour of ukulele clubs in the UK
