More About Van_Handpan

Hello earthlings

Receive sweet vibrational therapy via magical soundscapes of other worlds as we dive into the music of the spheres, discovering the healing harmonics of Handpan. As inspiration allows me, about 90% of my musical offerings are improvised and expressed in the moment. My song is one, and everchanging. Hear my journey of authentic emotion, passionate deliverance of the soul, sang and played on this instrument sent from star people.

I Am Van Hansen. I am that I am to discover myself, to sing with the Divine. I will answer any questions you would have and I might write more later.

This resonant steel vessel "landed" on earth in 2001 by the creative inspiration of two Swiss steel-pan makers. The Handpan provides sympathetic resonance using tri-tone harmonics in each note field, creating healing affects on the mental body, the emotional body, and the physical body as well. This is scientifically measurable and is fascinating to me that magic can be so tang
Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

I once quit my job in Seattle and went to go camping in Mt Shasta for a week or two. Next thing I knew I had been hitchhiking the country sleeping in a tent and teaching breathwork for the better part of three years. That was a pretty crazy moment.

Embarrassing Moment

When I had to write about embarrassing stuff on my musicians profile online. Pretty embarrassing.

My Instrument

My first Handpan fell out of the back of my trunk on our way to new mexico to study native american spirituality and lodgekeeping. Didnt notice it was gone for almost an hour and never found it again. The $2,000 price tag didnt bother me, it was the rare availability of the instrument that challenged me. It was a wonderful opportunity to practice lessons in non attatchment, which I passed, thanks:)
