We have been playing in London for the last few months, but will start a road-trip throughout Europe in July. We encourage everyone to follow these adventures, since no-one (not even us) knows what will happen.
Our home base now is Brixton, one of the most beautiful multi-cultural neighborhood in London, UK.
We were busking in Camden, UK. Had put together a 6 piece band, but, as we are spanish, it got late by the time we started playing. It was maybe 10 pm of a friday. By 11 pm the crowd that amassed and danced in front of us was kind of big, and some minutes later, 2 big police vans were arriving. Two incredible happenings co-existed: some of the policemen started dancing, but at the same time, we ended up in court. Last week, a lady approached us while playing in Brixton. She came to complain that she couldn't hear his friend while chatting. We apologized for the inconvenience, but she looked angry. She turned and put her biggest open hand in our money sack, that was full of notes that day. Took as many notes and coins as she could and BANG! Our bassist, Bill, took her arm. She started screaming, I hug her strongly. She screamed louder and louder. Omg. We would never fight a lady, so there she went, free, with our money.
Good side of story is that after the embarrassing moment we were given more notes by all the public that saw this sad situation.
Our guitar player's instrument is hand-made by himself with the help of a guitar maker in Barcelona. Built during a year working once a week in the happiest environment. That's the secret for the crazy sounds it makes!
