I have been playing guitar since 98 and I have been playing on Beale St for almost 5 years now. My band was picked to be in a Domino's Pizza commercial back in 2009 and I won a Music Pioneer Award for Best New Artist in 2011. I first started liking rock n roll when I saw the video for Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, and I knew I wanted to play guitar when I heard Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix. I started playing saxophone, clarinet and trumpet when i was a child, then I went to piano and percussion later on. I started playing guitar when I was 19 and I started playing bass a couple of years later. I write, play and record all my own music. I love listening to Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Ray Charles, The Doors, Janis Joplin, The Who, Lenny Kravitz, Christina Aguilera, Radiohead, Portishead, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, A Tribe Called Quest, Pink Floyd, Eminem, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Johnny Cash and many more
