Hi! On Streetjelly,Youtube and Soundcloud, I am Tomunplugged My name is Tom Leslie, and I have been making music as long as I can remember. Growing up, lots of music was played in our house. There, as a young child, we often attended the local coffee house where we heard Don Mclean, and Peter, Paul, and Mary live, to name a few, when they were just starting out. My best friend taught me guitar at first, and we would jam after school. At summer camp, pro musicans would give me guitar lessons. When my parents bought me my first guitar at a young age, I couldn't put it down. I also studied piano, recorder, percussion, voice, dulcimer, and played trumpet in the school band. I have since played at weddings, in a worship band, house concerts, and street fairs. I was heavily involved in Acapella groups in the past as well. I love to play Rock, Folk, and Gospel covers.

Life on the Street
Once, on a sweltering summer day, I was playing out in a street fair, and in mid song, a wasp dive-bombed me, ruining an otherwise perfect video take:)
Embarrassing Moment
Early on, I was playing for a youth group of about 50 people, and I forgot the lyrics to a song. I had to start over, and was mortified, Over the years, I have learned to relax more, and not take myself so seriously.
My Instrument
My very first 3 guitars I sold to a co-worker many years ago, and I regret it to this day. I still have one of my favorite first guitars, a Takamine F-349, which was a high school graduation gift, which I treasure, and is due for a restoration.
