Within a short time , I painted it black, glued silver sparkle around the edges and screw-nailed a 9.95 pickup in the hole with a cord dangling with 2 metal ball point pen refills soldered to the two wires. These fit over 2 of the xlr pins of the p.a. We barely reached beyond the curtain, but stood smiling and played the theme to Peter Gunn for 10 minutes !
