The Trackside Incident is a trio: Sophie on violin, AntiJoey on guitar, and Roz on vocals.
Sophie began playing violin at age 4. She is a veteran of violin camps and youth orchestras and has been a member of several reggae and folk bands.
Roz grew up in a French-Canadian culture, warming her vocal chords on long winter evenings when the neighbors would spread sawdust on the floor and dance all night.
The AntiJoey grew up in a holiness Christian culture and began playing piano at 4 years old. Hymns and gospel were early influences, although he would secretly tune into AM soul stations at night. Learned guitar at 15. Played keyboards in punk/New Wave Bands in the 80's. Played very little until 2011, when he began jamming with friends and renewing his interest in playing acoustic folk, blues, soul and gospel.
