I'm Declan Hurley, 21 years old,
and i play guitar and write energetic alternative music. I know i put punk and blues as my genres, because i dont see alternative as a genre. It's basically just modern rock to me. If the Rolling Stones were around today i bet theyd be labeled alternative. Anyways I always love throwing in some weird twists, notes, or chord changes into my music, but i don't get too far into the noise-jam territory that its un-melodic and droning. You could probably say my songwriting is very similar to that of Arctic Monkey's and Muse's. I also love the Pixies, Bob Dylan, Frederic Chopin, Nirvana, Modest Mouse, Dead Kennedys and the Doors so you may hear hints of influence from them in my music also.
