Born and raised on Vancouver Island BC Canada, Shawnigan AKA Sean Maher spent a lifetime collecting experiences and soaking in the diverse musical culture from the city's nightclubs to the ska and reggae surf beaches of Tofino. After spending 5 years working as a pro audio tech and playing guitar in a rock/reggae trio with Ganjo Bassman (2009 - 2014). and a support tour with Matisyahu in Mexico (2013) Sean left the West Coast and moved to Newfoundland where he worked on the Hebron GBS offshore oil rig platform construction site. Now residing in St. John's North Americas oldest city.
