I've always played a bit of guitar throughout my life since my teenage years. I grew up in a small town where there wasn't much to do. The winters were so cold, we hibernated indoors during this time. I've had the honour to play with some very talented musicians.

I also found myself to let my guitar sit there, waiting patiently, faithfully, while I was off doing something else. I recall having a conversation with myself in my younger days - I told myself that this would be my friend to the end. It has always been there for me as a way to let it all out of me when I needed it the most.

I tend to gravitate towards songs that mean something to me. I've written a few in my earlier years but, these have been lost in my many moves throughout the years. I've taken up writing again in the last few years and I'm having fun with it. I will never ever profess to be an excellent guitar player. I play for fun. I slam it!!! It's a hobby that I enjoy. It's my friend to the end!!!
