I did a talent show in the park, and I was singing Luther Vandross. My only competition was a girl with an enormous behind who twerked...her way into a victory. By the end, I almost voted for her lol.

I met Chuck Berry once, in a middle school class who got blessed somehow to meet the King of Rock and Roll. I told him, to his face, that my mom thought he was awesome but I'd never heard of him until this class. LOL and the truth was, I really hadn't. I was an R&B kid, rock-a-billy got on my nerves for the most part. But Chuck Berry deigned to laugh in all humility, and I did sigh. Had no idea what to say to the King. What would YOU say? I dare you to do better!

My favorite instrument is my guitar, Black Beauty, named that because my sister is witty and wise. I plan to get a collection of guitars, but I will always treasure the first one I ever bought.
