More About RicPatton
My grandfather was a whisky man and a Bluesman . He played and made good whisky during the 50s and early 60s . His name was Paper Patton . I never found and recordings of him , only stories and folk tales passed along from his old friends and community neighbors.
My name is Ric Patton. I got my first guitar around 7 yrs old ,My grandmother had already taught me to sing the blues from whipping my tail for being mischievous. The first song i learned to sing and play was called " Oh no Mama I wont do that no mo " Come by and visit me and ill sing it for you .

Fun Stuff about the Artist
Life on the Street
Lady passed out onto the pavement from excitement. She was shaking the tambourine and then Boom ! I never missed a beat , folks ran over to help her up. I never stopped playing that Blues. I yelled into the microphone " This is Blues Power "
Embarrassing Moment
My drummer fell off his stool drunk one night just when the show was rolling . I fired him and the bass player on the spot and told them to get out. He had a half gallon of vodka hidden behind the drum set . I finished the show solo.
My Instrument
I named my new Ovation guitar Second Hand because it is.
