Hello generous listeners. My name is Noah Matthew Salem. I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. Born the youngest of five boys to my parents, John and Shari Salem, I was exposed to a wide range of musical styles as I was growing up. My father, a well known jazz musician in Wichita, introduced me to artists such as, The Beatles, Miles Davis and Stevie Wonder. My mother, a former bassist of early-80's punk rock/new wave girl band, The Bampots, showed me another side to music with bands and artists such as, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, TOOL etc. Of course, lets not forget my four older brothers who also handed down to me their own unique flavors of musical genres. Combining all of these influences, I forged an undying passion for music, and sought out to create my own, so that I might influence somebody some day and to also unleash my angst, express my emotional state and to provide myself with an artistic canvas with which to splash my tones of musical color and creativity.
