Growing up in Orangeville, ON, I was surrounded by a diverse range of music genres, from country and folk to Motown, rock, pop, and punk. Music has always been therapeutic for me, reminding me that I'm not alone in my feelings. It has saved me more than once.
Though I tried to learn guitar for years, it wasn't until I was pregnant with my son and quitting smoking that I consistently practiced. Now, I enjoy playing and am working on getting comfortable performing in front of others. It's a new experience for me, and I'm eager to gain more experience.
