Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

I was performing at the Point in Downtown Pittsburgh over the summer. I sat down on the ground to use my lap as percussion to sing "Cups" by Anna Kendrick. Three little girls saw me doing this and came up to listen. One thing led to another and I sang this song at least five times in a row for them while they sang with me.

Embarrassing Moment

I was performing at Mister Smalls Theater in Millvale, PA in 2013. I was doing a one song solo of "Blister In The Sun" by The Violent Femmes. As I was getting set up on stage, I wacked the microphone with the neck of the guitar and the mic fell off the stand, making the most unholy noise I have ever heard. Everyone laughed, and I was blushing like a school girl.

My Instrument

My first guitar, Russell, is the 6 string that I still play with today. He is a beautiful Yamaha acoustic and I love him. He has been in every performance that I have done to this day. I have wacked him off of more tables and walls than I could count. I even dropped him during a radio broadcast, cracking the bottom of the body.
