Hello, I'm Marten from the Netherlands.
During the day I'm working in the web/IT bizz, but every evening I'm an musician. I've played piano since my youth. I've tried a few more instruments (flute, percussion, accordeon, counter bass) but my heart is with the piano.
I perform very occasionally, I'm just playing for myself and friends. In the past I've played in a old-style dixieland orchestra and an traditional gypsy band. In my student period I earned some money with playing in hotels, restaurants, marriages etc. Now I enjoy playing together with a violin, flute or voice. I'm also a piano player to a vocal group of 25 singers and we perform about 10 times per year.

I've studied a lot of classical piano, especially from the classic/romantic periods, My favorite composers are: Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Debussy, Schumann, Brahms,
