Markus K travels the world playing his music on the street. He brings his special blend of ‘blues fusion’ to life using a looper, a guitar, a drum and his voice.

His motto is ‘Busking for Unity’, and he has become an ambassador for street musicians worldwide. He funds his travels from album sales and from the generous tips he receives from his street audiences.

He recently played 3 sold-out concerts at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, as part of an 8 day tour round Scotland. ”I absolutely loved doing those. The response was so good and I sold a heap of CDs. I would love to do more! But I also want to keep playing on the street. I love it. It is the simplest way to make new friends, and it gives me the freedom to travel and take each day as it comes.”
