Now 50 years later I'm still at it. My biggest asset is my voice which GOD gave me 4 Octaves. It's allowed me to make a living all these years. I've been an opening act for a few major artists. I have also toured mostly the Western States. I play many instruments, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Banjo, Indian Flute and dabble on the keyboards, which has allowed me to create my own backing midi's and made it easier on me as a Composer/Performer/Entertainer. I love what I do and totally appreciate a great audience. I was working continuously until this recent outbreak. All my future gigs were cancelled. My goal is still, and has always been, to compose just 1 hit record and leave a Legacy that I was here. I invite you to come listen and enjoy.
I was performing in Balboa Park in San Diego, California during my late teenage years polishing my performances. I was always blessed to be able to change my voice to sound like other artists. So one day I decided to grow a beard and do nothing but Cat Stevens material because I can sound just like him. People thought I was really Cat Stevens and constantly asked me for my autograph.
While performing in San Diego in the 1970's, I put together a funk rock band. We were playing at a club one night and were in the middle of a song when a lady approached the stage, said "Would you like a pair of these to play with" and proceeded to flash us for about 30 seconds. The entire band lost it. We lost our timing, words and basically lost the entire song. Had to start the song over.. very embarrassing.
My first and most favorite instrument was actually stolen from me when I was in college. There was a concert going on which I was part of and I thought I could trust the man next to me while I went to the bathroom. I came back and he and my expensive Martin guitar was nowhere to be found. I have since replaced that guitar I now have another Martin and A Godin Electric.
