Greetings! I'm so glad you're here. I'm Larry Dearing, and I play Medieval and Renaissance music ranging mostly from the 12th to 17th centuries. I particularly love the music of Medieval Spain (Al Andalus). I can often be found on the stages and in the lanes of Medieval and Renaissance Festivals - yes, at heart I'm a lane performer. I play in a very folk-friendly manner that lends itself well to "street music". I play recorders and whistles, as well as hammered dulcimer, and some plucked psaltery.

Come hang out while I do 30 - 60 minute sets taken from my street repertoire as well as other "extras" I'll throw in here and there. I may even preview some of the songs I'm working on or perhaps some Celtic/Irish tunes. Feel free to chat, ask questions and interact.
