KenK’s music is best described as “equal parts rock, alt-country, and folk-pop”, topped off with some good ol’ guitar shredding just for fun. His songs speak of life, love, and gratitude mixed within stories of car rides, tattoos, and trailers. KenK’s sound is personal, soulful, and bleeds into his songs and live performances, influenced heavily by decades of writing and performing. Think Neil Young, Tom Petty, Jack Johnson, Bob Dylan and Jimi wrapped in one.

Ken’s songs have been used in movies, videos, radio and television. His song, “Wonderful Day”, was selected (from over 200 others) as the theme song for Denver Channel2 morning show, “Daybreak” in 2012. He was also awarded the “Golden Wave Award” by independent radio show, “The Colorado Wave” which recognizes individuals in the underground music business who have made a positive contribution to the world through their efforts.
