Hey! I'm Katie Thing
I taught myself to play guitar off of YouTube starting at about age 17.
I'm 19 now and I have started writing my own songs!
I named my acoustic guitar Litha, because I like saying "Litha" with a deep southern draw.
I love Taylor Swift's music, she really inspires me.
Other things you may or may not need to know about me....
1.) I cannot hit next on my ipod if Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap is playing.
2.) I hate running... especially running a mile or more.
3.) I used to play volleyball (#4), do dance, and in middle school I played softball!
4.) I am a sophomore in College and I'm Majoring in Spanish.
5.) I dislike math as much as it dislikes me.
6.) One of my best friends' name is also "Katie"
7.) I love fireworks, bonfires, autumn leaves, and guitars.
8.) I have a shih tzu (dog) named Cudi after "Kid Cudi" but I didn't name her.
9.) I am in love with Nashville!

My Instrument
I used to pretend I was playing my dad's ukelele like a guitar, but I broke all the strings on accident.
Now, I have 2 guitars, My acoustic (Litha), and my electric (Indie)... I also have a Keyboard but it doesn't have a name... Yet. :)
So, I named my acoustic guitar Litha, because I like the way "Litha" is said with a thick southern accent, it's like Liiiiiiiitha.
I named my electric guitar Indie, because on the back I saw it was made in Indonesia.
