Josh Jennings has been writing and recording music for over 15 years. Recently, he was rewarded for his songwriting talents at the 65th Original Ozark Folk Festival by taking First Place and he is now scheduled to perform on the Main Stage at the 66th Original Ozark Folk Festival in the Fall of 2013.

In the Summer of 2012, Josh Jennings released his debut album, Ol' Car. Teaming up with Josh is Bob Alexander, a seasoned flat picker that adds a lot of drive to their sound, and Kris Hurt, holding down the rhythm with upbeat walking basslines.

Now the Josh Jennings Band, they released their second album, Toe Tappin Tragedy, in the Spring of 2013. The band's sophomore album includes 12 original songs written by Josh Jennings and Bob Alexander.

To best describe the sound of the Josh Jennings Band would be, "Toe Tapping Tragedies." While the music is upbeat, the songs are personal experiences filled with emotion.
