Jonathan Blackshire is a singer/songwriter from Youngstown, Ohio. Inspired by the human experience and the hardships and joys of our shared existence, his work spans many genres and has been featured in short films and protest videos. In addition to his first album, “Dreaming My Life Away,” Jonathan has also written a collection of protest songs that he took to the streets as an activist. He's currently working on his next studio album, “No More Take Backs,” and frequently releases new demos and tracks on his Soundcloud page. Jonathan also hosts an online musical showcase using Google+ Hangouts On Air. This internet show connects indie musicians and audience members in an interactive live concert.
