More About Jonas Lewis-Anthony

I'm a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and amateur producer. My music career began at the age of 12 when he wanted to buy his Dad a Led Zepplin album for Christmas. I took his guitar to the streets and started playing, falling quickly in love with the livelihood of the sidewalk and the sounds of the city streets. I've continued to busk and play music ever since. When I was 18, I came to Canada with my former band The Four Roads to go on tour through Ontario and Quebec.

In May of 2013, I self recorded and produced my first solo EP, The Island, in just under a week. In November 2013, at the age of 19, I relocated to Kingston, Ontario to follow his musical career further and have since then been gigging and writing relentlessly.

In January 2015, myself and some friends formed a band called The Wilderness. We've toured extensively across Canada and the United States. In August 2016 I released an album entitled "Old, New, Borrowed, Blue", his first solo release in over 3 year
Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

The first time I went busking I was 12 years old. A drunk old man came up to me and tried to kiss me so I told him to piss off and he apologised saying "sorry, I thought you were at least 17 and a girl" which is still incredibly messed up.

Embarrassing Moment

Looking back at pretty much any video of me performing from when I first started to about 3 years ago embarrasses me a great deal.

My Instrument

My first Guitar was a black Eastwood and I named him Clint. I engraved the dates of every tour/show I'd down with that guitar in the back. I got Clint for my 15th birthday and loved him dearly. In 2015 it was stolen from the jam space I used with my band. I am still heartbroken.
