I play every day during the local flower festival every may and regularly have couples ask me to help them propose, it is always a great time.
Oh man, well. My band was playing a set for Third Man Records/Jack White and completely bombed. I tripped and fell off stage during the second to last song, we were all nervous and felt like we were way off quality wise but have a great working relationship with our favorite musician now and his record label because he saw the potential in the energy and connection between all of us. so it is kind of embarrassing but kind of cool.
My first guitar and definately my favorite acoustic was a Gibson Parlor Guitar named Raven, I got when I was 8 or 9. It was my signature axe for taking to the streets all the way through my senior year of high school when I fell on my face off my longboard on the way to go play and she went flying. I know some luthiers so we were able to put her back together for another season but the tension on the neck eventually won out and it snapped again;
