More About Jim_Roads

I’m an artist who is still learning, but I make up for limited experience with a vivid imagination and love for creating unique sounds. My biggest inspirations come from the golden era of 70’s progressive rock and early electronic music. Bands like Pink Floyd and Emerson, Lake & Palmer shaped how I think about atmosphere, melody, and storytelling in music.

Most of my work has been done with MIDI, so I don’t have much hands-on experience with live playing yet. Still, I’m always learning and experimenting, currently working on my fifth album as I keep exploring new sounds and techniques.

I hope listeners will join me on this creative journey — your support means a lot and helps me grow both as an artist and performer.
Fun Stuff about the Artist

Life on the Street

I hope to soon tell you about my first time.

Embarrassing Moment

I feel embarrassed very often when it comes to my music, but I think the biggest moment was when I decided to perform the vocals personally, as I couldn't find a vocalist who could do the job.

My Instrument

I own different instruments - Acoustic guitar, Bass guitar, Keyboards, Ukulele, Kazoo, Harmonica. My first instrument was a Bulgarian electric guitar "Orfeus", and it was in terrible shape. Recently, during an attempt to tune it (not really a possible task usually), one of the tuning pegs crushed between my fingers like it was made of sugar. Since then I use it only as a room decoration. Similar is the fate of my first bass guitar, which is the same brand, and also was in bad shape when I found it in an attic. But I was happy regardless, because I wanted a bass from a long time. It was my pal for at least 3 years before I had a chance to get a better one. Currently it stays besides my first guitar, also acting as a decoration, and in much worse condition than at the time I found it.
