Guitarist and singer Jake Green is a hardworking bluesman out of Copenhagen, Denmark.
For the past 22 years he has played with just about everyone in the Danish blues scene, not least as a steady host since 2006 at the Thursday night Blues Jam at the legendary Mojo Blues Bar in central Copenhagen.
Jake has also wielded his signature green Gibson guitar on the foreign stages of Austin, New York, London, Thailand and Spain to great acclaim.
When not playing and touring with his band Jake Green Band, he plays solo concerts both on tours and on the street to pay the bills.

Life on the Street
What I tend to enjoy most is when a little kid stops his parents and refuses to leave. I always make a big deal out of waving to them and making them smile if I can. =)
Embarrassing Moment
I don't really get hung up on embarrasing things. It's all part of the show and you laugh about it and continue on.
My Instrument
I got my stage name "Green" from the host of a blues jam session many years ago. He kept forgetting my name, but remembered my green guitar. "Mr Green" had a nice ring to it, and I kept it.
