Playing as a street musician back in the 70's in Austin TX. I would play with my case open for tips 6 th and Guadalupe. There was a chicken place where i could get chicken wings for 15 cents. lol Kept me alive. I did manage to meet a lot of up and comers which led me to get to play in front of more people I had ever seen in my life at The Armadillo World HeadQuarters. Great times
Was playing at a place called Little Ed's in Odessa on Murphy Street with my band after the Navy. We had worked on "Feels Like The First Time' Bad company I think. Very nervous about it so we started the first set with that song. It was just out of my range. Sure enough the song and the band fell apart on it. After about 45 seconds into it a thunderstorm cut off the power. Saved by the Lightning. Whew!

No name. I have among others a 1975 Guild D-55 that I bought in the Navy. Been a lot of places with me and played a lot of gigs with the famous, infamous, and unknown artist. Wonderful memories with that guitar. Met my wife, had my child and grandchildren with that box around. My rule is it always goes with me and rides where I ride. Tone is unique and aged. I love my Taylor 6 and 8 string Baritone also but the Guild I would never part with. May even have it cremated with me when I leave this realm. lol
