A. I was performing in Branson Mo. and Gary S. Paxton (Writer of the Monster Mash Hit) walked on stage and helped me sing a course to one of my songs. That has been one of the highlights in my music career.
B. I was at an award show at the Country Music Hall Of Fame in Nashville,TN getting ready to take a picture of Little Jimmy Dickens, when he called my name and presented me with an award.
C. I was singing there in the crowd messing around with a guitar that was presented to me that same night I met Little Jimmy and Pam Tillis walked up and helped me sang the course to one of her dads hits "Old Patches" It was awesome. She also autographed my guitar as well.
I guess we've all experienced one time or another, I forgot the lyrics to a song I was singing with Lauren Alana in the crowd. This was before she was as big as she is now.
My first Instrument I ever owned was given to me by the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Assoc.Director in South Carolina in 1972. At that time I was in a foster home, and Mr. Richardson gave me a Yamaha FG110 box guitar,(I Still Have Pictures Of Me Playing The Guitar In The Foster Home). that was a sweet guitar. Man, I loved that Guitar. I joined the Army and I gave it to my dad and he lost it somehow, and that really broke my heart. That was in 1979. He Passed away in June of 2000 and he never told me what happened to the guitar.
