I started playing in my early teens, I toyed around with lyrics and music ideas and never thought of recording anything most of my musical years were spent playing in cover bands. In 2008 I came up with a song idea I felt I just had to record. Ended up quitting the band i was in, Started recording some other songs I had written and here I am now. I've never considered myself a solo performer and still don't. I write and record my songs myself, in a little bedroom studio. I'm planning to do "live" renditions of my songs with a little jamming thrown in here and there.
Buying new guitar strings about 10 bucks
Getting new guitar toys in the hundreds
Playing a gig with a Bachelorette party going on PRICELESS
2 coolest gigs in the cover band days
Being one of the opening bands for Molly Hatchet
Playing to roughly 3000 people who were literally Dancin in the street
Explaining other wild moments might get a bit too graphic lol
My first guitar a telecaster copy I hacked into a teardrop shape painted black and stuck the pickup under a half inch think piece of black plastic (I'm pretty sure this was the first "blacked out" guitar) Was a real bummer once i found out it didn't sound quite as good as it used to
A long long time ago my first long term girl friend bought me a 1972 Fender Stratocaster (natural finish) That guitar has been thru hell and back.
In 2013 I decided she needed to be brought back to as close to original as I could get her and when you see me on here playing, chances are pretty dam good she'll be with me.
